Dedication Ceremony on the new Aquafarm
site

BIAC held the official dedication ceremonies for
the 40-acre Aquafarm site at the HOST Park on Keahole Point. The event was
attended by Hawaiian Governor Ben Cayetano, Big Island Mayor Stephen Yamashiro
and Hawaiian Senator Lorraine Inouye.

Park Chairman Tom Whittemore provided a brief history of the Park and
facilities.
Stephen Yashimiro, Mayor of
the Big Island of Hawaii, outlined the importance of innovation to the
island community.
H.O.S.T. Park Executive
Director Jim Frazier explained how the new 55" deep-sea pipe (3000' deep)
will serve the Park.

spoke of the importance of risk taking for both companies and government.
Hatchery & Nursery Production Manager Peter Hain explaining abalone during
