Construction Update
Summer, 2000
Following the
May, 2000
dedication ceremonies, Big Island Abalone began construction work on
Phase I (10-acres) of the new 40-acre Aquafarm site. During
construction, production continued at BIAC's original facility at
NELHA's Research and Development Incubator.

and Technology (HOST) Park. By July 31, 2000, sections of the site were cleared, and
drilling and crushing of the rock were underway. |
